I’m Al Kazam the Magic Man and I have been an entertainer and performer for almost 30 years now. From street theatre, to busking in Tokyo, to large stadium audiences, and small kids parties in living rooms, I’ve had the wonderful experience of doing it all.
Being a father of many kids myself has given me the advantage of knowing what gets the kiddies to come along with me for a fun and unforgettable experience.
For over 20 years now, I’ve been entertaining using magic and balloons as a way to bring joy, laughter and amazement to kids both here in Australia and Asia. Combining all the many years of experiences to bring amazing and funny magic shows to kids here in Perth. Having performed many thousands of shows, I believe I’ve been able to combine the best of the years of entertaining experience into my kids themed magic shows. My speciality is that if you book me for a magic show, I guarantee that the kids will sit there and enjoy themselves immensely.
I lived in Taiwan for 16 years and can speak Mandarin Chinese. I used to perform my magic shows only speaking Chinese. Having lived in India and Japan for a while, I can converse simply in Hindi and Japanese. I’m often asked if I come from South Africa, or sometimes the USA. I was born in Scotland and came to Australia when I was only 2. I grew up in the outback town of Mt. Isa in North West Queensland. All the years of living in Asia changed my very ocker accent into a mix of many different sounds.
My other hobbies outside of magic, is playing guitar and ukulele. I’m also a big fan of rock and roll music. I also enjoy travelling and photography.
